HOW TO TELL THE DIFFERENCE?

What to do?  What to say?
Just observe and learn...
CURTAIN to many is an antiquated term.
Used mostly for the movable Theater Curtains that separates the stage from the auditorium or that serves as a backdrop.  Reference is made to Shower Curtains for privacy and for keeping water from the outside of the shower stall.  Hospital Curtains as used to separate patients beds.  Cafe Curtains as in homey restaurant or kitchen designs. Voting Curtains for confidentiality.  Doorway Curtains to separate room division.

Although for many, the word Curtain and Drapery are commonly used interchangeably, they are in today's identification, fashionably different.

The best way to differentiate Curtains would be fabrics that lack the added benefit of light control, insulation and possibly motorization and  can be moved by hand.  The Theater Curtains though, due to its size and weight,  have some form of remote controlled computer.
